Stebo signed up for an ESF call to follow an evolution pathway within a learning network, in which innovative approaches and tools for competency management have been developed and tested.
It was decided not to start from a classical competency management that focuses on gaps but rather on developing people’s strengths. This methodology is called ‘Appreciative Inquiry’ (AI).
The philosophy of AI departs from the strength thinking and reasoning along capacities and inspiration of staff with regard to organization development.
